Salisbury Arc Flash Face shield 12 cal/cm2
The new Premium Salisbury Arc Flash Face shield is a Weight Balancing Arc Flash Face Shield and Helmet. It stows in a balanced compact position, centred over the top of the hard hat when not required. The Face shield has an ATPV rating of 12 cal/cm2. Nanotechnology provides a more transparent window for improved visibility. The Salisbury Arc Flash Face Shield unit includes ait vents below the chin that allow a natural convection air flow through the face shield. As a result this reduces fogging of the visor, lowers CO2 levels and improves comfort for the user.
The technology that gave traditional arc flash face shields their characteristic green colour had an unfortunate side effect. The green tint distorted the colours a user would see. To avoid this and distinguish the exact colours, workers frequently lifted up their shield, hence creating a potentially dangerous situation.

The Honeywell PrismShield enhances colour recognition and general visibility compared to green face shields. It provides full colour recognition, making sure your workers will set similarly-coloured cables apart in every occasion. It also increases general visibility, especially when working indoors in poorly-lit rooms.
Proper colour recognition and improved safety. The PrismShield nano particle technology allows the full spectrum of light to be transmitted and observed by the user. Therefore all colours can be observed and clearly identified with the new Prism Arc Shields – blues are blue, greens are green. PrismShield colour recognition makes colours visible where they once were almost indistinguishable. Colour recognition testing showed that using the PrismShield gives the same colour perception as not wearing a face shield at all.
